Two Tinsmith Wine Series.

2002 Blackwood Reserve Cabernet This is an impressive bold Aussie Red, with an intensely rich ruby colour and a strong nose full of berry and plum aromas which are becoming so typical of the Cabernet wines from our patch. The palate follows on with
full-bodied blackberry and plum finished by beautifully balanced tannins and a classy oak finish. This wine has won three Bronze medals.

2004 Cabernet Sauvignon The colour is the same rich purple red of a new cabernet. The nose of this wine is similar blackberry and raspberry fruits with yeasty/bready overtones from extended lees contact adding complexity. The palate has generous raspberry and red cherry fruit with refreshing acidity and soft tannins when combined deliver a wine with intensity and elegance, lighter in style with lovely length and persistence of flavours right to the finish. This wine was awarded a Silver medal and Best Red.

2005 Cabernet Merlot A beautiful blend that is typical of the Blackwood valley grapes.. The colour is a rich clear purple and the aromas are still fresh and fruity. Berry and plum come first and the palate is so typical of the rich fruit cake flavours.  The joint oak is apparent in the finish of the wine. Will mellow quickly and should cellar for 7/10 years.

2005 Blackwood Merlot This is another great example of the Blackwood influence. This is shaping up to be a superb wine. A delightful purple colour and the aroma reminds you of a handful of mulberries with a hint of spices and berries on the palate. The subtle blend of both American and French oak.  The flavours have yet to finish developing but shows the promise of the beautiful wine it will be.

2006 KingTin Cabernet Sauvignon With a colour that is truly a rich purple red of a new cabernet this is showing beautiful promise. Aromas-Plum and ripe Berries are complemented by hints of Vanillin Oak. The palate is medium bodied has bright fruits, with delicious blackcurrant and plum with a generous mid palate finishing off with beautifully balanced tannins and a subtle blend of oak. Cellaring 10 years. Another of our beautiful Aussie Reds designed for enjoying at the end of a working day, preferably sitting on the verandah with your best mate or mates.

2007 Classic White This is a superb Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend. Beautiful pale golden colour, with aromas of lifted zest of passionfruit and lime with hints of kiwi fruit. Fresh and flavoursome, tropical fruits are evident on the palate, with hints of gooseberry and citrus, with a textural finish and clean acidity. The style is all about freshness and vitality. This is a perfect wine to enjoy chilled during a relaxing afternoon or any other time that suits your fancy, enjoy!

2007 WR Pink Monet Rosé Our new Rose is slightly darker in colour and this little pinky is delightfully sweet, beautiful Strawberry flavours and worthy of your appreciation. The palate is full of the beaut berry flavours and is balanced by the fresh acidic finish that ties the wine together with perfect balance. Absolutely delicious chilled on a summer’s day.

2003 Greenbushes Cabernet Sauvignon
Awarded three Silver medals in 2004 at Cowra Wine show NSW, Perth Royal Wine show and Qantas Mt. Barker Wine Show. In 2005 won Best Red Wine at the Timber Town Wine show. [SOLD OUT]
